What’s the Deal With Adobe Lightroom?

For many photographers, Adobe Lightroom has become one of the most effective digital imaging applications they have ever used. The reason for this is simple, it’s easy to use and you can use it on just about any photo that you own or take.

Pros: First of all, it’s a program which is very user friendly. And it’s free! With all that in mind, why would you even consider using another program?

Pros: The best pros are the basics. If you already have Adobe Photoshop, you’re probably pretty familiar with it and will be able to transition easily to Lightroom. There’s no need to purchase Lightroom software if you already have Photoshop.

Pros: The software also comes with some amazing photo effects like video, vector and numerous others. This makes it possible to save time by eliminating a lot of duplicating and stitching photos together. There are also other features such as the ability to search your photos through Tags and your Photos Library.

Pros: Even the pros agree that Lightroom has some great features. The key here is that if you’re using it for the first time, you’re probably wondering what to do with all of those features. With some training and practice, the ability to manage your photos and albums is more than a couple clicks away. But if you’re already an experienced photographer, these features could be overwhelming.

Pros: These benefits would not be complete without mentioning the fact that Lightroom is free. The only downside is that it’s still just a learning program and doesn’t give you the experience needed to really get things done.

Pros: These benefits would not be complete without mentioning the fact that Lightroom is free. The only downside is that it’s still just a learning program and doesn’t give you the experience needed to really get things done. At least for now.

Pros: There are many pros to Lightroom. One of the main reasons that you would want to get it would be because it is fairly cheap to get started.

Cons: So what do the pros and cons look like then? Well, we’ve been using Lightroom for a while now and the pros far outweigh the cons. Even pros are beginning to see the potential of this incredible program.

Pros: Pros would include the fact that it’s a very user friendly program. The user interface is extremely easy to use. Some even say that it is easier to use than Photoshop and offers much more.

Pros: Pros and cons would be based on you. If you are comfortable using a program and have worked with a program before, Lightroom is going to be one of the best programs out there for you.
