Start your Google Analytics account by entering your domain name, then a resource ID for the page you want to track, and lastly, your tracking ID. For example, if you wanted to track your website traffic, enter the domain name as your URL, then your resource ID (like yahoo.com) and finally your tracking ID.
Once you have completed the registration process, you should be able to access the Dashboard within minutes. If it takes longer, just log back in and try again.
Every time you log into the Dashboard to look at your Google Analytics information, you should see a new tab called “Reports.” Clicking on this tab will take you to a new window called “Analytics.” Here you can see all the information that you’ve collected through Google Analytics.
This page will show you what pages on your website people came from, what search terms they used, and other information that helps you evaluate your marketing efforts. To find information about your users, you can click on “Audience” on the left side of the screen.
